Our Team

Angela Bastien Director / Certified Laser Technician	Born and raised in Minnesota, Angela Bastien is an owner and director at Begin with your Skin Medspa and has been working in the healthcare industry for over 18 years. As well as being a Certified Cosmetic Surgical Assistant she is a nationally Certified Laser Technician. Angela's knowledge and experience in aesthetics is extensive and she offers a unique perspective on the services performed at Begin with your Skin Medspa as she has personally experienced all of them first hand.
Dr. Scott Jenkins Medical Director	Dr. Scott Jenkins is a board certified plastic surgeon with over twenty years of experience in skin physiology and surgical cosmetic procedures and is a graduate of Duke University. Dr. Jenkins has been in private practice since 1988 and has many years experience in the medical spa industry.
Kelly Miller Client Coordinator	After graduating from the University of St. Thomas Kelly decided to follow her strong desire to attend Cosmetology School and dive headfirst into the beauty industry. Having a background in both PR and cosmetology Kelly has worked in a variety of positions from spas/salons to event planning. Kelly is a beauty treatment and product enthusiast and is happy to offer any assistance she can to the special clients of Begin with you Skin Medspa.
Barb Canter Esthetician/Certified Laser Technician	I began my career as a professional Make-Up Artist, while attending Saint Paul College for my Esthiology Degree. With over 11 years industry experience, my passion for the beauty industry extends far beyond words. I received my National Laser Certification at Elase Academy in Utah in 2010 to assist in my client's achievement enhancing and embracing their own beauty.

Our Goal
Our goal is to provide our patients with the highest level of integrity, commitment and skill to help them look their best. When you are looking to enhance your looks, you need a clinic you can trust and feel comfortable with. We believe in presenting all options to a patient in order to give them the ability to choose the strategy that best suits their needs.

Our Consultation
Our consultation involves obtaining a complete history, with special attention being paid to the patient's desires. Different options will then be presented to the patient along with an opinion as to which option may be best for each individual patient. However, we believe that the patient has the right to choose the option that fulfills their desires and we will work together as a team to best achieve the desired results.

Who will be doing my treatments?
Most treatments are performed by Registered Nurses and Medical Estheticians who are Certified Laser Specialists.
